WELCOME TO MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY!

 

 

I discovered my passion for painting during a four-session art class led by a dear friend and was inspired to dive deeper into my artistic exploration.

 

As an artist, I'm fascinated with how differently I look at things; I'm much more inquisitive and see variations in the ordinary that push me to explore the possibilities of translating the ordinary into art. Looking at life with the artistic eye allows me to investigate color, texture, light, depth, framing, layering and feeling in a whole new way.   I see art as a way to share myself authentically, to take myself outside my comfort zone, to push the boundaries in my life, and to expand my way of being in the world. I invite you to step into my art and explore the painting as you wander around the scene and my hope is that it evokes a memory or emotion in you. That to me is a successful painting!

 

I am fully embracing this incredible journey, and my art has blossomed into a deeply spiritual part of my life. My talents are a gift from God, who has given me this life with the expectation that I live it to the fullest.  I am grateful for the gift of creativity and the ability to bring it to you.
